Volunteer of the Year

Volunteers are an important part of the event industry. This award recognizes a volunteer who demonstrates excellence by going above and beyond. The nominee has made a significant difference in supporting events in their community, Province, or region.

General nomination guidelines are as follows:

Only complete nomination forms will be accepted
Only the information submitted will be used to evaluate the nomination. Judges will not use their personal experience with/knowledge of a nominee as part of the evaluation process **It is important to provide as much detail as possible to ensure the nominee is recognized for all their accomplishments during the evaluation process**
All questions are weighted individually and equally
Self-nominations are accepted
Nominations are open to volunteer activities that took place in previous calendar year (Ie: 2025 awards recognize volunteer efforts in 2024)
Nominations can only be submitted by an Event Atlantic member
Nominations are open to any individual or event that took place in the Atlantic region
Only the award recipients will be recognized
